Dreamys Touch Events provides event styling, personalised partyware and hire services. Contact us at info@dreamystouch.co.uk about your personal information.
Information we collect
When you request an event, we collect your name, email, phone number, guest count, event date, venue, postcode, selected services and the details you choose to share. Contact messages include your name, email and message. Please do not include sensitive personal information or guest lists in your notes.
How we use it
We use these details to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange your event, manage payment and keep business records. Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, fulfilling a contract, meeting legal obligations, and legitimate interests in managing enquiries and protecting this website. Submitting an enquiry or event request does not subscribe you to marketing. You can choose the separate, optional email marketing checkbox.
Optional email marketing
If you tick the email marketing consent box, we record your email address, when and where you opted in, and the wording and version of your consent. We use consent as the basis for email offers, new products and party inspiration from Dreamys Touch Events. Signing up is optional and does not affect your enquiry or booking. Our email campaign provider is not connected yet, so this website currently records preferences without sending marketing emails.
You can withdraw consent at any time using an unsubscribe link in any future marketing email, or by contacting us at info@dreamystouch.co.uk. We stop using your address for marketing when you opt out. We retain your address and a record of that preference on a restricted suppression list to prevent accidental re-subscription. A later form submission will not automatically undo an existing opt-out. Authorised administrators can view consent records and export active opt-ins; booking contacts are not included in that marketing export.
Payments and service providers
Stripe handles online payment details on its own secure checkout. We do not store card numbers. Our hosting and payment providers process information needed to operate this service. Where information is transferred outside the UK, applicable safeguards must be used by those providers. See Stripe’s privacy policy for its processing and transfers.
How long we keep information
We retain enquiries for up to 24 months after the last contact unless an event proceeds or there is another lawful reason to retain them. Booking and payment records may be retained for up to six years for accounting and legal purposes. We restrict access to authorised staff and review records for deletion.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. Contact us to make a request. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
We use an essential session cookie and browser storage for the basket and to remember the signup prompt preference. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.
