TERMS THAT MATTER.

Eligibility and identity

Drivers must be at least 18, hold an accepted valid licence and pass identity verification. Additional insurer restrictions may apply to specific vehicles. Both sides of the relevant identity document must be approved.

Contract and payment

Your personalised contract states your legal name, booking dates, the vehicle's agreed value, rental subtotal, security deposit and total payable. No payment is requested until identity approval and contract signing are complete. A booking is confirmed only after Stripe verifies payment.

Loss, theft and write-off

Where loss or a write-off results from the driver's proven breach, fraud or negligence, liability is limited to K-CARS' proven uninsured loss up to the agreed vehicle value, after insurance and salvage proceeds. Any payment plan must be separately agreed in writing and comply with applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Mileage, fuel and condition

Your confirmation states the included mileage. Return the vehicle with the agreed fuel or charge level and in the recorded condition, allowing for fair wear and tear.

Legal review

These operational terms are draft business copy. A UK solicitor must review them against the operator's insurance, credit arrangements and consumer obligations before commercial launch.
